State of the ARC |#6 Late-a-thon

State-of-the-ARC

State of the ARC is a monthly meme at Avalinah’s Books meant to motivate you to finish up all your long overdue ARCs (Advanced or Early Reader Copies).

Welcome to the first State of the ARC of 2019 and, thanks to Destiny’s late-a-thon, my ARC reading is off to a pretty good start! I’ve also received some amazing ARCs recently so I’m very excited to see how my State of the ARC progresses throughout the year!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

This week started off as a great reading week but ended up with a bit of a reading slump due to some issues I’m having with one of my current reads. I’m also pretty tired from juggling working part time, studying, writing my PhD applications and trying to have some other sense of life outside of these things. January TBR | #Late-a-thon edition

January TBR | #Late-a-thon edition

Hello, new year friendos!

I have honestly been so looking forward to my January TBR for the past few weeks because it meant that the late-a-thon would finally be here to rescue me from my overdue ARCs. Destiny knows what we all need to get our 2019 off to the right start.

I’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive some excellent ARCs throughout 2018 and I have been feeling super guilty about how long some of them have been waiting for me to read and review them. I’m hoping that the late-a-thon will serve its purpose of helping me catch up on those pesky overdue ARCs, meaning that I can finally review them (sorry authors and publishers!) and move onto my more recent ARCs.
