2018 in Review | The Best Books of 2018

2018 has been an absolutely incredible year here at Red Rocket Panda. Although I technically set up my blog in April 2017, I didn’t start properly blogging until January 2018 and I cannot believe how much this blog has grown – I’ve made some fantastic friends, read a tonne of brilliant books, and enjoyed bringing you all content throughout the year.

One of the things that surprised me the most is that I managed to not only smash my original reading goal of reading 50 books this year, but I also smashed my second goal of 75. As of today, I have read 81 books which is 55 books more than last year. I wanted to share with you all some of my favourite books as well as new-to-me authors that I’ve read and discovered this year!

Nine Worlds | Reading List Reviews

Before I packed myself off to Nine Worlds this year, I set myself a little reading list that I hoped I could conquer before attending. However, setting myself the task of reading 3 books in only 4 days was clearly not the most realistic of goals but I did read 2/3 books and was donated two amazing trilogies by fellow 9W attendees which I also want to share with you!

Nine Worlds | Reading List

It’s that time of year again when I head off to Nine Worlds and we only have 3 more days to go, so in true Avery fashion, I am doing all of my very last minute organizing and posting.

On Wednesday/Thursday, I will do a post about what sessions I am doing this year, where you can find me and what other sessions I am going to! Annoyingly, it didn’t occur to me do a book blogging session (which I’m kicking myself for but there’s always next year), so to bring some bookish love to Nine Worlds I wanted to share some my 9W reading list (let’s not talk about the fact that I don’t have much time left).
