The end of the year is almost upon us and I am not ready for it in any shape or form. Things got super intense at uni this month as I had to submit my PhD research proposal to my department for early feedback before the funding deadline in January, so I’ve been working flat out on my proposal all month meaning that both my reading and blog got horribly neglected. I had been planning for November & December to be my catch up months, and the thought of having to squeeze all of the catch up into just December now is making me a bit nervous haha!
I beat my second reading challenge goal of the year! Round 1 saw me smash my goal of 50 books, and now I’ve beaten my stretch goal too!

I know that I say this at the end of every single month but holy hell this month went so fast and it’s almost the end of the year?! How though?! I don’t understand where the entire year has gone, it’s gone too fast for its own good. October was a pretty good month though so here’s a quick rundown of everything I got up to!

As usual, this month has gone by in a complete flash. As I’ve been so busy its gone by quicker than usual so I haven’t been able to get as much blogging or reading done as usual. I’m also so close to meeting my Goodreads reading challenge, which is great because my time to read non-academic books is about to take a hit as of next month!

It’s the end of June, the end of Pride, and the second half of the year is almost upon us already. 2018 has been a blur so far, June was no different and July definitely is going to be the same! I read some super great diverse books and participated in some cool reading themes including the Ramadan Readathon, World Ocean Day, and Pride.

Hey Panda friends!
I absolutely cannot believe that it is the end of May and we’re already halfway through 2018. Whaaaaaaaat?! Idk how time is flying so fast and I always seem to be so behind on everything. May seems to have been a massive blip for me in terms of organization so sadly I didn’t get to post most of the topics I had planned and only read 3 out of 8 on my TBR! Oops… BUT I did read some fantastic books this month anyway and am smashing my Goodreads Challenge (which I have now increased from 50 to 75 books).
